One of the rarest and finest gifts to the world of wine is Rosé Champagne and today we are proud to offer you our very favorite – the Comte de la Rochefocauld Rosé. This artisan bottling of 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Chardonnay celebrates the traditional multi-vintage blending process of the region, as well as the increasingly rare use of the ‘saignée method’ which involves extended maceration to achieve the beautiful texture and pale salmon color of this wine. A Champagne for all seasons, it is particularly lovely during the holiday season for both its festive color and limitless food pairing capability.

Pale salmon in color, a captivating nose of freshly cut strawberries and crème fraîche leads to a rich, savory palate of lemon tart and brioche with delicate nuances of honeyed ginger and nuts. The flavors carry through with racy acidity and an infinite stream of bubbles to a long finish with crisp apple and citrus flavors. Refined and approachable today, the wine will achieve greater earthen and spice nuances over the 5-7 years.
