The 2013 Westerly Fletcher’s White Wine comes to us from Santa Barbara’s Happy Canyon. Known for its warm sun and cool ocean breezes, the wines from this region have quickly become some of the California Central Coast’s most sought after. The fruits in this white wine blend come from two neighboring vineyards along Westerly Road. Very near to the vineyards lies the Westerly Stud Ranch, the birthplace of many prize winning racehorses.

Rolling green hills and bucolic scenery lend themselves nicely to the understanding that this region and its people are tied to these lands and that shows in their wines. The Fletcher’s White Wine was almost exclusively hand processed – from the vine to the bottle. It is composed of 38% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Semillon, 22% Roussanne, and 16% Viognier. The blend ratio is specifically designed to maximize the best characteristics of each varietal. You will experience a beautiful golden hue, aromas of stone fruits and a superbly classic texture reminiscent of some of the Rhône’s finest whites.
