Napa’s 2013 vintage is making a strong case for itself for having the potential to be the valley’s greatest Cabernet Sauvignon harvest to date. The region has grown accustomed to excellent growing conditions almost every year but 2013, with its warm sunny weather and early dry harvest, has produced the finest raw materials that Napa’s most celebrated winemakers have ever had a chance to work with.
We are thrilled to showcase the attributes of this legendary vintage with our Creen Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% Cab sourced primarily from Yountville, the deep glossy color is the first signal of the wine’s immense concentration. The nose is abundant with jammy blackberry and fruitcake, leading to nuances of smoky sage and cedar as it opens up and evolves in the glass. Waves of plum, cassis, and melted licorice flow effortlessly on the palate with hints of damp earth and spice, leading to a velvety finish accented by hints of grilled herbs and black pepper. A stunning wine to enjoy today after two hours of aeration, the Creen promises many great years of evolution and drinking.
