The wine has a beautiful yellow gold color with the slightest touch of green. Just wait until you smell this, the nose is just crazy. It reminds me of a smoky, caramelized piece of pineapple that’s just come off the BBQ. Then when you taste it, the bright flavors of lemon curd and creamy pear just burst on your palate. But what I really like is how the Semillon fruit takes over in the finish with a bright hint of green apple and subtle touch of vanilla. The finish just goes on and on. And with a wine like this you can pair it up with all kinds of great summer dishes. If you made up a light pasta dish and threw some shrimp in there, you’d have an awesome meal on your hands.
