The color of this wine is a golden-honeyed-straw, with aromas of lemon peel, anise and honeysuckle bounding from the glass. The mouthfeel is full and round, with bright acidity and fresh flavors that wake up your taste buds. I noticed a lot of creamy lemon and mineral on the palate with waves of hazelnut and butterscotch throughout. Hints of white flowers and fresh lemon linger on the finish with just a hint of honey. This white burgundy would make a great match for shrimp scampi or escargot.
