One sip of this and all the history and character of this tiny region is revealed in the most beautiful way.  This is what Viognier was meant to be!  Starting with the color, a vivid, glowing gold shimmers.  The nose is heavenly, complex and perfumed with Asian pear and dried apricot laced with honeysuckle and wet slate. The palate is so pure and vibrant with juicy nectarine and quince with back notes of almond and the slightest touch of honey, balanced by wonderful, fresh acidity.  The finish is precise and focused with flavors of Meyer lemon and white peach framed with orchard flowers, a wisp of bay leaf and smooth, refined minerality.
