2003 Clos Saint-Georges Reserve de St. Patrice, Côtes du Rhône

This is one of our favorite summertime reds. 2003 was a stand out vintage for the Rhône and the Reserve de St. Patrice was produced from a small parcel of old vine Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. The color is black garnet- very dark, with a spicy nose full of plum and berries with black pepper woven throughout. The body is lush with jammy fruit, cherry and spice that leads to a finish that lingers with nicely integrated tannins.
