2006 Midnight Run Croweater Shiraz

Deep, dark, and a little bit dangerous, this Shiraz is everything we love about McLaren Vale and its winemaker Phil Christensen. Opaque eggplant in color, the nose is loaded with boysenberry, leather, and coffee. The body is full of blackberry jam, tobacco and spice, a true palate-drenching Shiraz that's a blast to drink. Flavors of dark chocolate, toasted vanilla, and earth come through in the finish with a powerful, chewy tannin.
