2004 Aelis Tempranillo En Barrica Ribera del Duero

This Tempranillo has a rich dark purple color that is absolutely mesmerizing in the glass. The aroma smells so good! You will notice hints of candied violet, forest floor and mulberry with the slightest trace of tar. The palate is all about balance. There are seamless flavors of cherry, coffee, and rich blueberry with a soft hint of earth. The finish is far from simple with smooth tannin and spicy almost velvety warmth.
